Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data the Activity Finder tool collects, on what basis we process it, how we protect it, and your rights. The tool is operated by Bright Global Tax Consulting and Accounting — FZCO ("BGA", "we"), Office 1534, Tamani Arts Office Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE. Data-protection contact: office@bga.ae. 2. What data we collect
Business description: the free-text description of your business that you submit to the tool. Before this text is stored, obvious direct identifiers — emails, phone numbers and passport-like numbers — are automatically scrubbed and replaced with "[redacted]", so we do not keep them. Contact data: only if you open and submit the lead form, we collect your name, optional company name, contact details and preferred contact channel, plus the role, business type, UAE company type and business stage you select. No account is required. Technical data: server logs (IP, request time, user agent) for abuse protection. This page loads BGA's existing analytics tags. Tool events contain only stable identifiers, page language and coarse result categories; they do not contain your business description, form inputs, exact results, raw campaign parameters or click identifiers. Analytics providers may set measurement cookies under their own policies. Raw acquisition identifiers are stored only by the BGA server and are represented in the browser by an opaque journey identifier.
3. Legal basis and purposes
Processing is performed on grounds set out in UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL). Your consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit the lead form, is the basis for contacting you about your enquiry. We process your business description to match it to the relevant UAE business activities, license type, approvals and jurisdiction options, and to improve the tool. We also process data to comply with applicable UAE law.
4. Who we share data with
Cloud and AI providers used to run the tool process your scrubbed business description in-region under data-protection agreements. UAE authorities — only the mandatory reporting scope, where the law requires it. Partner advisors — only when you ask us to help you apply for a license, and within that engagement. We do not sell data to third parties and do not use it for marketing without your separate consent.
5. Retention
Stored queries are anonymised: scrubbed business descriptions may be retained to improve matching quality, and identifying detail is removed within 90 days. Contact details you submit through the lead form are kept only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, in line with BGA's data-retention policy. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, the standard accounting retention period applies — up to 5 years, as required by UAE law for primary records.
6. Data protection
All staff sign NDAs and access to lead data is limited to the people handling your enquiry. Data is transferred over secure channels (HTTPS, and end-to-end encryption in messengers). Backups are stored encrypted.
7. Your rights under PDPL
You may obtain a copy of the data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, withdraw consent and request erasure (subject to statutory retention periods), and lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. To exercise these rights, write to office@bga.ae. We respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The latest update date is shown at the top. Where we hold your contact details, we notify you of material changes by email.
